How to craft a book as agile as a website?

Overview

Cloud portfolio is a book archiving the various chapters that made my time in graduate school at GSAPP.

Cloud portfolio had to be able to neatly compact into a book format while allowing for other usages such as having multiple people look at the book at the same time. As a result of this constraint, this project's goal focused on innovating the book. Unlike regular books, this book has detachable chapters. Is Cloud Portfolio one book, or is it ten books? The answer is: it can be both. The book can also welcome new chapters and grow.

A graduation requirement, this book was designed at the end of my Master of Architecture degree at Columbia GSAPP. It was exhibited alongside my classmates' portfolios at the end of year show.

Overview
You don't start out a project to create a failure or success. [...] It is very good to be unafraid to create something new or different. If you experiment, research and walk paths others don't dare to take, the result can be good or bad. But what is good and what is bad? Twenty-five years later the stamp book gets a lot of respect, and is now recognized as a revolution in book design. You cannot anticipate these things.
